I suppose. I mean, cheesecloth comes in sizes large enough that you can make a sachet, twist the ends up, and leave it in a regular metal strainer, over a bowl. Then again, I've never tried it.

Though I do like that as a phrase -- easier to control than a bag full of dairy product.
