Dec. 13th, 2009 04:04 pmOperation Photograph the Rats was a miserable failure. I need to go to Best Buy for new camera batteries to see if that helps. Failing that, I will attempt to cram them in the scanner or something.
(Joking.)
Operation Name the Rats has been far more successful. The one with the notched ear (and the one I met first) is Altaïr. The other one is Ezio. They are nimble and clever and probably excellent climbers. They are appropriately mum about their professions.
The boys have been relocated to my writing office on account of Canine Interference. Gwen spent a lot of yesterday (and much of last night) watching, whining, straining to stand tall enough to see, and even pulling stuff off of the shelves to get closer. While it turns out I have serious-ass headshot skills with a squirt bottle even at 3 AM in the dark, I can't say I feel compelled to make use of them all night every night.
Tonight? Writing. Lots of it. I've been feeling poorly enough that I've been skimping, which is bad for this month's upcoming deadlines. I played a lot more WoW today than I intended to (curse you, new dungeon group matchmaking system!), so tonight is Big Crazy Workfest.
But first, food.
