Ordinarily my blog of origin for posts would be over at Dimlight, but I am being sneaky and don't want my mother to know I'm asking about this.
A while back we found out about a "captioning" phone service she's eligible for because of her hearing loss. We got the parcel, though, and there's a problem: it requires a cabled connection to our in-house network, which is wireless.
It's been something like seven years since I actively worked in technology, so I'm both rusty and unsure of the technologies I might want to employ here (short of either a) drilling a hole through the floor/ceiling, or b) stringing long cables with hubs, both of which I suppose could work, but neither of which is particularly elegant).
Thoughts?
