Last night...
Apr. 23rd, 2010 06:58 am...I slept for nine hours. I could sleep even more. I also dreamed many things, including:
- Weird interactions with a family I was visiting
- Another visit somewhere in which Cat Allergy became relevant
- I am not afraid to confront the possibility of an electrical fire above a drop ceiling with a squirt bottle. (And where did all the ambient lighting come from in that scene if none of the lights were working?)
- Was invited to Chicago to be a columnist for an actual publication, doing the column I'm thinking of doing over at AC.
- One of the other writers was the guy who plays Mozzie on White Collar. He had this book of cryptic looking passages that he liked to tear pages out of and give to people while he did his Mozzie voice. I liked him a lot.
- There was also an entirely unrelated section that was set at a comics convention in the Neuromancer universe, and Bryan Dick was playing the bad guy, and he was holding this half-peafowl woman hostage. (There was White Collar crossover in the form of many visual references to Adventure Comics.)
- Other frequent images included golden and silvered octagons, usually behind the peafowl woman's head.
- Really great restaurants in that last bit. Seriously, I'd have liked to have eaten at the Japanese place, but I was too busy being creeped out by Bryan Dick's character.
All of which is quite random and probably not of much interest to anyone, but hey.
