Death March Season
May. 16th, 2010 12:17 pmIt's death march season at the dayjob. The good news is that I am a genius and can completely handle this. The bad news is that I haven't had a day off since the 10th, and that I worked a 13 hour day on Friday, seven straight hours yesterday, and am working a full 8-5 today.
That's in addition to a minimum of 5600 words of prose/week, research, and plot-fu.
Yeah, the house might look like something out of 28 Days Later at this point. I'm seriously this close to scrawling crazy things on walls.
BUT.
I feel really good about all the work I'm doing. I am just doing too much of it all at once to feel in any way rested.
OH CAFFEINE I LOVE YOU.
