Jul. 18th, 2010 07:03 pmHome again and safe after this weekend's ADVENTUR, which involved driving to STL to
count_to_seven's childhood BFF's house to see her,
kel_reiley, and Kerri (whose LJ, if it exists, escapes me). On the whole, it was an excellent trip, and I intend to blog it properly later. However, it was a trip that proved something I've known for a long time:
I cannot, even for a little bit, be around cats or in a structure where cats reside. No, not even on antihistamines. No, not just for a little while. No, not even if they are lovely, adorable cats who will stay in the other room. No, not even if you vacuum. Cats are my kryptonite, and have been so all my life. No matter how many pills, injections, or corrective measures I try, I will get terribly, terribly sick.
It sucks. I hate that I can't be a normal friend.
