Unfortunately, I’ve got too many open tabs distracting me. We all know what that means.
- Check it out! My friend Erynn has seven poems in Queen of the Great Below: A Devotional in Honor of Ereshkigal. Go forth, O Masses, and check it out.
- Via a couple of places now, one of JK Rowling’s plot spreadsheets for Order of the Phoenix. I love this sort of thing, because I love seeing other writers’ processes.
- Things I do not love include yet more privacy fail from Facebook.
- The shiniest winky in NYC, possibly NSFW depending on how your workplace feels about frontal nudity in public statuary.
- Useful voting and election tools from the ACLU.
- If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times: librarians are not to be trifled with. (Also, how much am I regretting not taking the opportunity to change my name to Rex Libris?)
- Writers! Have an interesting-looking call for SF/F subs.
- Random but fascinating: a guide to the metals that surround us.
- Not quite finished reading this, but I think a few people I know would be curious to see Alan Moore’s thoughts about the modern role of magic. (Link is to part 1, part 2 is here).
