bodlon | Steve Perry update (Reply)

You may remember a post I made a little while back about Steve Perry (of Thundercats and Silverhawks fame), who has been both ill and in desperate financial need.

Now, I don’t know Steve, but I grew up on some of his work, and so I’ve been trying to boost the signal a bit and do what I can as one guy among many. Tonight, I got a really lovely thank you e-mail from him, as well as a short update.

His cancer, according to a recent round of tests, has returned. They were lucky to find what they found when they did, and he’s scheduled for major surgery on the 8th. He’s doing what he can on his end to make ends meet, but he’s still in pretty desperate need.

If you can help, even a little, it will make a difference to him and his son. The PayPal account his friend set up for him (sandramaples48@yahoo.com) is still active and correct.
