Wonderment and sadness in the face of this week's Doctor Who

Wonderment:
- How gorgeous is that moment at the beginning when the Doctor is holding Amy by her ankle and she's floating in space? And how hilarious is it that she apparently tries to go back out a little herself?

- MAGPIE. Holy crap, Magpie. Best sneaky reference from RTD's tenure ever. Design Team Love.

- LOL, Space!Scotland took their own ship.

- Amy saves the world Space!Britain (and its friendly whale) in her nightie.

- SPACE WHALE.

- Surprise Sophie Okonedo! As Her Majesty Elizabeth the Tenth! This was glorious in oh so many ways.

- Angry Eleven. Sad Eleven. Eleven being glad to be understood by the Girl Who Waited. Oh, I love them. They are the Best Friends Ever now.

Sadness:
- Oh, humanity. Fear does not look good on us.

- Nor does class commentary.

- Nor does democracy. Sigh.

- Oh, Eleven. I just want to hug him. Fortunately, Amy's got that sorted.

- Stuff. Oh dear.
