20:15 In the emergency room with mom. Hooray for adventures in blood sugar. (Hers, not mine.)
20:55 Mom's been prodded for a bit and is now dozing under a blanket on the A&E gurney. She hums in her sleep.
21:51 Mom update: we are STILL in the ER. They're giving her IV fluids, doing blood work, letting her eat crackers and cheese.
22:38 Mom's blood work is in. They're keeping her overnight, giving her fluids and maybe blood in the morning. My mother the vampire.
