I am trying to decide what’s more frustrating: not knowing quite what to write, or knowing exactly what to write and then having to do a ton of heavy lifting to get it done.
Oddly, it’s that second feeling — knowing everything in advance, seeing it all vividly in my head — that I have when I write in screenplay format. I get these intense visuals that I then have to transcribe, and it feels so terribly slow.

- Cleopatra’s Guide to Good Governance. Interesting, and a little bit tongue-and-cheek. The ancients weren’t always right, but the lessons of history are useful.
- Toy robot in Denver creates massive disruption. This makes me irrationally angry because it tweaks those nerves that miss living in a world where strange and wonderful things can pop up without being threatening.
