Because I am decongested, antihistamined, and antibioticed within inches of my own life and sanity, and because in spite of additional sleep my concentration is shot. I am being short, flip, and generally unskillful. Therefore, this post will be in the form of two lists of bullet points.
I'd wait, but I must clear tabs. Desperate tab clearing. All tabs must go.
Things which are Not On:

copperbadge, thedivinegoat reports strange goings on in which someone may be scamming, for reasons unknown.
- While I was away, someone scattered cotton balls on the lawn of the Black Culture Center on Mizzou's campus. Arrests have now been made. I wish I could say that this surprises me, but considering the things I've seen carved into bathroom walls of late (including swastikas and the words "fuck you obama n-----"), I'm really just angry and sad.
- An alarming number of people believe women should be forced to change their names when they marry.
- Anthrax being found in drugs in the UK.
- Harassment suit against the UN thrown out. Not because it didn't occur, but because the UN is immune.
Things which are Wonderful, Interesting, or Make Me Happy:
- Today I joined the Cult of Flo and paid an awful lot of property tax. Torchwood Five's little blue car is an inspection and tags shy of resurrection.
- Let Ianto Rest.
- All Sorts, a linguistic experiment that encourages people to tweet neologisms and suggested coinages for collective nouns.
- via
lupabitch, an interesting article about so-called 'strong female characters,' how they fail, and suggestions about other choices writers can make that will be more interesting.
- Daniel Radcliffe is awesome. One of the things straight allies risk when they stand up for LGBTQ people is being pegged as gay. Points to Radcliffe for not shying away from that.
- Zombies have free speech too.
