Steve Perry Update

I was going to work up a quick update on Steve Perry, but Ann Somerville beat me to the punch. She’s crafty,this one.

The short of it is that there’s some progress in terms of keeping him and his son Leo housed and fed (Hero Initiative’s help and other donations have helped him with back-rent and some basics, but Disability still hasn’t kicked in yet, so his income situation is very shaky and he can definitely still use all the help we can offer him), but that he’ll be in surgery Wednesday to start work removing some more tumors.

Every time I hear from him, he’s optimistic. He’s got other work he wants to do. He’s got ideas, and things in progress with old friends. If nothing else, I’d be grateful if you could keep him in your good thoughts this week.

As always, anything you can afford to send will make a difference to him and his son Leo. The PayPal account his friend set up for him (sandramaples48@yahoo.com) is still active and correct.
