Dear universe: I could do with a bit less in the way of creepy/irritating heteronormative assumptions this week. Especially while I’m having blood drawn. I’m really not prepared to broach the issue with somebody who is already stabbing me. On the up-side, the doctor says my organs are all apparently doing their jobs, and my blood pressure is good.

So a little while back I mentioned that the anthology of urban fairy erotica that includes my story “Equinox” wasn’t quite out on account of Circlet’s website having shopping cart issues. Since then I’ve dutifully checked for updates every couple of days, not realizing that Like Butterflies In Iron is available in a Kindle edition as well as via Smashwords.
So yes! Go. Download. Enjoy.
Also, my not-so-inner geek got excellent news today. (Memo to Davies: if you’re looking for American writers…)
I just noticed that Crossed Genres is doing their second annual flash fiction contest. Check it out. Check it out!
I’ve officially broken down and started plotting out the novel in Post-Its on foam board. Point and laugh, people. Point and laugh.
