• 12:31:45: Two freshmen behind me discussing the Buck v. Bell case & utterly missing the point of it. They're also baffled by washing machines. HALP.
  
• 18:47:38: Watching the rat boys play in my writing office. One of them has found one of Gwen's squeak balls and is playing with it. Win.
  
• 18:51:25: I can hear Gwen snuffling furiously at the door crack. The rats are curious and sniff back.
  
• 19:47:36: There are few things more uncomfortable than being somewhere near the center of a heated philosophical/social justice argument.
