• 15:39:39: Am delighted to say that I've returned from pruning my pear tree without falling off a ladder or other embarrassments.
  
• 15:40:21: We'll see in the spring whether I've destroyed the harvest, I suppose. OTOH, sticks!
  
• 19:02:00: Tonight I learned that I can't be trusted with a hatchet.
