• 14:06:46: Hey, did DADT just get cleared for debate in the Senate, or did repeal pass? If the former, HRC is looking prematurely self-congratulatory.
  
• 14:17:39: Watching DADT repeal debate live on CSPAN-2. MN-D Sen Amy Klobuchar is on right now.
  
• 14:21:10: Out of nowhere, AZ-R Kyl is now trying to sell us on the McCain amendment to START.
  
• 14:23:44: AZ-R Kyl has suggested that conflict between the US and Russia is inevitable. What is this, 1987?
  
• 14:31:19: AL-R Sessions is on now, also in favor of missile defense in New START. Which, er, doesn't work against ICBMs.
  
• 14:33:53: Sessions doesn't seem to realize that India, the UK, etc. don't have similar capability/Cold War history that makes START important.
  
• 14:35:45: Or, uh, a working missile system at all, much less one to deploy in Western Europe.
