So I'm at my Sunday writing group, where I am ostensibly writing, but am really eating Sicilian-style bread and having incredibly odd conversations with people about local rental housing, valerian root, Richard McKenna's essay "Journey With A Little Man" (which, while hard to find, is absolutely worth it), and whether blueberries taste like ants.
Writers, people. This is why we cannot be allowed to congregate.
Here, have some links:
- Someone has created this fanvid -- Doctor Who: The First Question -- and it's absolutely the most beautiful, well-crafted thing I've seen in ages.
- This week's big moment of head-tilting: Marvel's lack of congruence on the matter of whether mutants are human.
- Random usefulness: The Ultimatest Grocery Lists. I don't even use these (yet?), but I keep looking at them and thinking they're fabulous.
- Best drunk-texting story ever. Don't blink.
- Ladies and gentlemen: Nyanto Jones.
