• 10:49:58: At hospital with mom. Cardiac symptoms. #HELLTOTHENO
  
• 12:14:33: Mom & I are settled in the ER. They're doing tests, so we're in a boring phase. How this can be when anxiety is so high is a great mystery.
  
• 12:15:23: Also, mom has gone to sleep, so I'm working on my capstone paper. Because it's due at 7 PM. We call this confirmation bias, incidentally.
  
• 12:16:00: (And no, my prof is not a sadist and holding me to that deadline, but I feel better having something to do.)
  
• 13:55:45: Still in the ER. One nephrologist, one cardiologist, now two blue-scrubbed residents. Moving to admit her overnight.
  
• 13:56:17: Best part of my day: reflexively saying "It's never Lupus" to the nephrologist.
  
• 15:00:02: And now we're up on the floor getting situated. A whole new crop of nurses to educate about how little my mom can hear them.
  
• 15:07:02: In other news, it's possible I should eat something soon. I'm running on toast and a cup of tea from 4 AM.
  
• 15:33:51: Have slunk away to hospital cafe to put food in my mouth and decompress a little bit.

Also, it's a bit surreal reading over yesterday's tweets. Not least because I remember that when I made the "Hooray! Today is pretty!" one I thought oh god, my capstone is due tonight and I have just said a happy thing and now terrible things are going to happen to my mom.

And then, half an hour later...
